Lake Chippewa is 30 miles long and 18 miles wide; its rugged shoreline is cut by numerous bays and channels, its wide expanse dotted by hundreds of islands. In the heavily wooded areas around the lake you’ll find eagles, osprey, blue herons, loons, ducks, grouse, otter, beaver, mink, raccoon, deer, bear, and other small game.
