At Resort
Fishing
We offer 14 foot fishing boats and motors for rent, but you are welcome to bring your own fishing rig. Free boat launch ramp and dock space is also provided for guests that bring their own boat. Also available are fresh minnows, night crawlers, gas & oil – plus hundreds of theories on how to catch fish!
The Beach
We have a very nice gradual sloping sand bottom beach with plenty of chairs and lounges. There are kayaks, canoes and a paddle boat for rent.
The Lodge
Our main lodge has a rustic log bar where you can get a cocktail, also beer, pop, candy, pizza, fishing tackle, and many other items that you might need while on your vacation. Also available at the resort are bait, extra boats, outboard motors, gas, oil, and hundreds of theories on how to catch fish.
From Resort
The Hayward Area offers many things to do and see. There are several excellent golf courses, mini-golf, go-cart tracks, horseback riding, a wilderness walk and petting zoo for the kids, lumberjack shows, and many excellent hiking and biking trails close by.
There are also many wonderful gift shops & restaurants, flea markets, a farmers market and a casino. Hayward also is the home of the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame with the four-story walk-through musky.
